A lot of men shy away big time. There is also another side when quite a few "man-up" to a girl getting bullied.
I couldnt get my male friend to even watch a movie based on violence against women. He is fine with the gory violence of survival movies though. I never get it.
My brothers(I have none by blood) would ask me to stay away from trouble rather than get involved- their way of protecting
