"The women of Bikini Kill let guitarist Billy Karren be in their feminist punk band, but only if he's willing to just "do some shit." Being a feminist dude is like that. We may ask you to "do some shit" for the band, but you don't get to be Kathleen Hannah."--@heatherurehere

Haha! I've not seen feminist comics for a while. Thanks for that.

On your features about men doing feminist work, might I suggest Dr. George Tiller in Kansas? He's the famous abortion doctor who's been shot at, his clinics burned, and yet, the man comes to work every day dedicating himself to women's reproductive justice. He's sort of ...erm, my hero.

Is that a new cartoon, or one of her older ones? I think it's one of the older ones; but I can't help but see it as a comment on the election.

marc--That series is dead in the water for the moment, but if I take it up again, I'll check out Tiller, thanks!

It's one of her older ones, yes, but good point. Kinda sad that it's timely yet again...

One of my favorite things about her comic is the 'random comic' button, and the fact that most of 'em can be read whenever, even though there is something like a narrative line over the whole...
